What program are you using (looks like SpeedFan?)

If so I think that is a ghost temp so your fine.

Yes that's Speedfan.

About the GPU, does ~ 160°F sound normal when not playing ?

Try HWMonitor and see if you get similar readings. Speedfan's pretty crummy for new computers from what I've seen recently.

on speedfan the flames indicate that it is over 50 degrees, which on most new graphics cards is nothing under use.


Still I would be inclined to use a better piece of software because for controlling fans, speedfan is the best program out there, but for temps, I wouldn't trust it. Go with the other bits of software posted, or everest usually gives you pretty acurate readings
