Temperature Sensor

Now, this might be a "basic" questions (I am trying to avoid the word stupid :D ), but I am relatively new to build my own system so I will ask anyway and hope that someone can get a good laugh out of my question and then enlighten me.

The case I bought for my 2nd system came with a temperature read out on the front of the case. The question is where would it make the most sense to place the sensor? Obviously the CPU temp would be most interesting to me, but..............

I appreciate your input!

well the cpu has a sensor to read its temp check ur vga card if it has a heat sensor or not .if not then the meaningful place would be ur vga.

You can put it on the harddrive, northbridge, cpu, video card, or just leave it dangling for the case temperature.
