Well, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion came out a couple days ago, and let me tell you...the "official" forum boards are going nuts, especially in the "Hardware" section. Never in my life have I seen so many idiots running around, either not knowing anything whatsoever about computers in general, or ppl with the same amount of knowledge trying to help others.
There are literally hundreds of new threads each day that are just insanely ridiculous. It seems half the TES fanbase can't get the game to work right because they're too ignorant of computers, period. I would have tried educating them all by now, but I can't reply to anyone's post even though I am registered and can login...gives me an error.
This is where one or more of you may come in. If anyone here is an Elder Scrolls fan and would like to help...feel free, its frustrating reading all of these "Help! can play the Oblivion DVD in my CD-RW drive?" or "Why can't my FX5200 video card run Oblivion on high settings?" or "Will I be able to play Oblivion? I have AMD FX-57 cpu, 2 gb ram, geforce 7800gt video card." questions.
Thanks in advance if anyone has the cajones to brave pc support hell. These are my fellow TES gamers.
