Test CPU

Is there a way I can test out a cpu to see if it is bad or not.

you can check the stability of your system when you OC it with prime95, great software, is it bad or good cpu is up to you, if your cpu runs smooth and there are no problems and your satisfied then it's a good cpu, the oposite of it of course bad

Are you talking about bad or good in that is it broken or not? Or if you got a "good one" ?

Well the most important test you have is done before the video is initialized so if you even see anything then yer ok there ... the rest is done via something like Prime95.
