Text adjustments

Hi,
I just installed windows7 pro. The problem I'm having is that the text size won't stay set.

I use both firefox and I.E.9 both have problems but are different.
Firefox loads super small script on pages loaded you can hold the control key and scoll to the larger size. If you go back or forward to the next page or back to home page it reduces it again to small size. How do you make it hold the size you just increased it to.

I have it set on 125% on screen resolution.

On I.E. I have the same problem except that it stays the same but the home page has an feature that lets you change the look and it opens everytime I go to that page. I have tried making changes and then saving but it always pops open when I go to or back to that page. Is there anyway to stop this? home page is AT&T net.

Go into the start search bar, start typing "make my computer easier to use"
there should be a list of options - click "make my computer easier to see"
and enable the text-thing (I can't remember what it's called) that makes text easier to read. Should auto-size text to make it visible, depending on monitor res.

BTW, I assume you meant I.E. 8, as IE9 hasn't come out yet
