The $215 Case question

Ok guys I need some opinions here before I blow a fortune...

My PC is dying...fast and hard...Fans packing it in...Randomly rebooting or turning off altogether....Its been emotional...but its time for a new beast to be born from these ashes......

So the reason my PC is dying fast and hard is because my house is HOT

and I mean very hot

My CPU often runs at like 58C and my motherboard at nearly 50C. I have fans all over the case, 1 120mm at the rear, 2 120mm on the PSU, 1 80mm on the side and my 120mm on my CPU and a small one on my gfx

So the first thing I need to do is buy a damn good case with loads of potential for cooling and as I have never used liquid cooling before I thought id try it

However is this a good case to use

here

there seems to be less cooling on this than my old one (which is coming up to being 5 years old soon) and £120 is alot of money to spend on a case (approx $215)

Please help with this and any other cooling or case mods u think would be handy in my situation...

I know its long and probably boring but i need to get things like this sorted before my PC explodes

going with that case and liquid cooling will suit your needs very well. You can expect a 40% decrease in temps.

Now are you asking if we reccomend that case or what? It's fairly nice, but WAAAAYYY too expensive IMO...

Larger cases(something around mid-towers) and larger fans(120mm's with decent CFM's) should do well in cooling the system. Heatsyncs should be large with good fans(as in CFMs) and usally copper bases help. Be sure thermal paste is applied correctly.

Uh...not sure if this is what your looking for but hope it helps :P

Looking at various websites Im totally lost as to what I need for a liquid cooling system. And as there is a total lack of cooling 101 (well I searched it here and found it has been removed or edited to nothing helpful) I need help. I may well have to go for a heatsink such as:

this
or
this
or
this
or
this

but I have no idea on the pros and cons of each one

I need the best possible and if you think that the case is good but expensive can you point me in the direction of a better, cheaper one?

As far as cooling goes I have never had the need before to have super cool components but I am going to be spending approx £900 ($1700) on my new system so I dont want it to over heat and explode

was going to go for this psu but not sure as I have heard that psu's with a seperate on/off switch can be slightly duff sometimes

Have decided to post the system I would like to purchase and build here and see what ppl think

so here are the links
case
psu
hdd
gfx
ram x2
mobo
cpu

ill probably use the dvd/dl/rw and cd/rw media reader and firefire cards i have now and see what else i can find out cooling wise.

Total cost to build is going to be around £1620  (approx $2846) and i will obviously buy this bit at a time as that amount of money all at once is a bit much. I dont want to have to buy a new pc for a few years so am going a bit ott here.

So what do you think guys? Any feedback welcome

i use my current system for gaming more than anything and the new one would be the same

Does it matter if i go Intel is the system specs are so high?

P.S. psu looks nice thanks helmie

instead of buying it over time wait a year buy same parts and save 500+ due to price drops from newer better hardware or buy video card and cpu last thatll save u 150+ oh and amd = gaming intel use to = multitasking but w/ dual core processor of the x2 multitasking = amd so amd > intel atm
