can someone please tell me what makes a case good for keeping a cool running pc, i figure alot of fans especially 120 mm ones would od fine, but i cant seem to find a case on frozencpu or newegg that gives me what i want ( a crapload of fans for under 75 bucks )
has anyone seen a case with a lot of fans out there for under 75 bucks that would like ot show me. im not worried about noise i just want a cool pc with about 8 fans.

edit : i would also like a window as i am going to light this case up like vegas at night. and the case just has to have fan mounts doesnt have to include the fans, thanks

this is one of the best cases ive found so far http://www.xoxide.com/x-ventilator-case-black.html

more fans doesnt mean better cooling. 1 intake fan towards the bottom of ur case and 1 extake at the top and maybe 1 or 2 others shuld be fine. the intake on the bottom brings in cool air and the extake on the top gets rid of the hot air that rises to the top of the case.

all the 80mm fans would make your computer really loud. And bigsaucybob's right, i saw a thread about air cooling (forgot which one) where they ran experiments w/ different amount of fans. I think a top exhaust and a front intake worked very well.

a big case, lots of fans. good air cooling is all about how much air you push through the case.
my system has 4x 80mm fans, 3x 120mm fans and and the temp never goes above 25 degrees.

The Aspire x Navigator(my Case) comes with:
1 front 80 mm fan, and additional fan port for second front fan(intakes)
2 rear 80 mm intake fans
top 80 mm exhaust fan
120 mm side fan
two power suppy fans
You would only have to buy one additional 80 mm fan for front port if you want to.(I got one but didn't install yet)
Front and rear fan controllers,on/off rear case switch/cpu and hdd temp gauges, front USB & firewire, locking side, lcking top panel to hardware andreset switch, interchangable front bezels, four very bright front lights and more. My P4 3.0E(Prescott) runs at 28C, HDD's at 29C

i hear that it is a good case , buts its flimsy, and that front panel breaks off easy

btw has anyone told you (hairy lee) that you look like wayne static?

from what i hear...

1)very roomy.
2)tool free.
3)sturdy
4)stylish
5)good air flow

1) does not come with 120mm fan in the front
2) the fans it does come with are loud

i would say its a good case.

This is the case I am planning on getting I hope the price go down

I used to love my case until i seen the Tai Chi

I have the Cooler Master, Wave Master case

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811119030

I love it but it only has 2 stock 80mm fans and i installed another 80mm on the top, and i run my fans on performance as well as my heatsink the cooler master hyper 6+, and i honestly never really notice any heat issues' and my system never runs hotter the 38 i am sure with 120mm fans which have close to double the cfm of 80mm fans it would prolly run at 30ish instead but i like it, and maybe this summer i would get a new case but i kinda like the mid towers and not really a fan of the full tower, i seen the new stacker and every1 loves it but am i weird cuz i don't think its that amazing.....
