What would be the best cd burning software. I need to burn an .iso image to a disk. Is there anything specal i need to do to put the iso image on the disk?

Yes, alcohol works it nicely, as does DVD Decrypter though the latter is no longer being developed and I am unsure as to whether it is still available for download on the net legally.
 
For ISO it doesnt matter because, at 2048 bytes/sector .. .you're not trying to do anything fancy :) Now when you get into RAW mode and with Subchannel data and stuff ... Nero and stuff dont cut it anymore :)
 
the best bet you can probably get is with DVD Decrypter as aqsg72 said because its practically idiot proof [no pun intended].

1. find your .iso (also supports others like .mdf, etc..)
2. insert your dvd and choose a speed if u want
3. burn
4. your done

google it.. you will find older versions.. the newest one is 3.5.4 or something.. gL
