I believe the difference between the 7900 and the X1900 was the fact that nVidia gets more FPS and can go at higher resolutions better, while ATI has smoother graphics. Read that somewhere.
 
The ATI x1900XTX and nVidia 7900GTX are the two best cards. Any of those are better then your 9200.
