The computer is turning on after I turned it off !!

Guys,

My computer is turning on after I turned if off !!! When I go to bed the computer will be turned off. I only close my eyes after it stops everything(the loading, lighting, monitor off etc). But morning it is on !!!!!!!

What is the problem???? what can i do to prevent it?
 
maybe someone is going into your room and turning it on :P or you have ghosts :P lol.

im not sure, but do computers have "Sleep Timers"? as that might be causing it to turn on lol.

yeah. thats what I do now. But I wanna find out why it is turning on itself. I turned it off before I go to bed. I dont know why it keep doing it.
 
It's possible your computer has a wake timer active in the BIOS, I know mine does and it can be set to self-wake at any time of the day. Check in there to see if there's one and if it's active. If it is then there's your problem.

Do you know how to turn it off? I know how to go to BIOS. Where should I go from there?
 
lol, you know what, my computer was doing the same thing before I put vista on the computer, I have absolutely no idea why I even checked BIOS aswell, that wasn't the problem. I'm assuming now that there was a fault in the button and after a smashing the button a few times it fixed it.

Anyway enough about that, in BIOS, look around for an option called power on after power failure or something along the lines of that, turn it off aswell. Then have a look for a wake timer, some BIOS's don't actually have one.
