Ok now guys. I no this is gonna be hard. Lots of you wont want to ( since its me ), And alot of you wont even bother cause youll think ill screw it up. But i want to build a computer " everyone screams " yeah me.... To practise so can build a more expensive later down the track when i have more money/job.

Now Lets keep it low. Im aussie so no US stores. And I dont Have all the money now so i may order some parts late so you can name slightly more expensive parts if they'll come down. Uses= Internet, MSN, Music, Counter strike Source ( if that isnt possible scrap the idear ) yeah just the basics. O yer school work. ( just microft word ). Now my budget's a little low! but i have been saving all my money for 23 days! $ a day . Current;y have $23. But thats not the budget. The budget is $400 AND LESS! NO HIGHER! PREFIBLY LESS? What parts would be nice.... Decent HD space. Decent ram ( 512 or higer? possible on my budget? ) case that looks non cheap. Thankyou

OK, you can make a nice little pc but $400 is a little less for something like that. Unless you can get a second hand PC and mod it then i can see it almost impossible. I would expect atleast a minimum of $700 or £400. This is for a good system basic really.

It better be. I'm not sure how much $400AU is, but for $250USD, I got 2GB DDR2-667... Corsair too

$400. base unit? Or whole system? A basic base unit w/o OS is around $300.

OS is ubuntu lol. With the computer that cheap wont be able to run windows. . And $1 us dollar = 80 c AUS about. so yer now all US people are looking at even less money...

excellent bang for your buck^^. Read one of the 1600+ reviews if you don't believe me. Don't cheap out on the PSU too bad you will regret it.

I cant shop from america high shiping costs , and b4 they said 450 wat PSU and thats 430 WAT. Also can you Recomend a case i was looking at ones like http://www.austechnology.com.au/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=31_28_28255 Since there cheap and come with a PSU and there aussie. Also When you day the build can you label each part what it is? like MOBO, HD, etc. And i have an external CD/DVD drive that i never use so maby i can use that for CD/DVD drive or maby theres someway to make it internaL?
