The DVD player in my computer is messed up

OK so as the title states I think the DVD player on my desktop is messed up. I was watching a movie the other day and when I got to the 1 hour 45 minute mark the movie quit?

It could be the disk I am not sure I have to look into it further.


but could it be the drive my chance?

Most likely it was a bad dvd. Are there any scratches on the dvd? Try the dvd in a different player.

or vice versa, try a different DVD in the player. That would do more on the ways of trouble shooting.
