The i5 processors (2500K and 3570K)

Hi,

I was wondering:

1) What do the integrated Intel HD graphics do? Are they even doing anything if I'm already using a separate video card?

2) I know for sure that 3570k will outperform 2500k but is it really worth the money? I'm looking at around 3-4 years in time of usage and wondering if OC will get there with no problem

3) If I want to OC, what are some of the cooling suggestions?

1) with a dedicated the intel HD doesn't matter

2) I think the 3570k is slightly cooler, but i know they first couple batches didn't overclock quite as well as the 2500k's, not sure if that has been sorted out yet, but either will pass 4GHz no problem.

3) on a budget, cooler master hyper 212 plus, if you have the money, there are some others but idk, a corsair H80 water cooler maybe
 
Stock clocks the 3570K runs cooler with less wattage. Overclocked it flip flops. The 3570K runs hotter and overclocks alittle less because of heat.
