The New Warranty for the Xbox 360

I was wondering whether I am automatically covered for this or if I have to send anything in to confirm it.

are you talking about the one year or the three year warranty? they both automatically apply for everyone, but the three year warranty only covers Red Ring of Death malfunctions.
