I want a Commodore 64 modded so that can hook up to a 'modern day' monitor and be able to run 'modern day' games. Wouldn't that be insanely awesome?

I keep looking at my C64s and just wishing I could use them more. It's sad watching them slowly age.

If you were to mount a miniATX mobo with all the parts in the shell, it shouldn't be hard to get a keyboard hooked up. Just plug into the ports on the mobo. I would think the main problem would be getting the power and reset buttons to work. Do they even have those type of buttons?

Just stick a mini-ITX board into it, simple enough (with some modding).

My main problems is how the keyboard is setup though. I wouldn't know how to start to get that working.

It would suck if you needed to use any of the other F keys
