I thought I'd try the MyAbandnware copy of the Sims 1 complete collection so I can finally have a CD-less version of the game with all DLC stuff, but very time I try to launch the game it just crashes to desktop & doesn't even try to run at all. I even tried running in both resolution modes & activate the game with a code I found in the comments section of the download & al recommended compatibility mode/properties settings & nothing works. Just crashes to desktop after clicking start. Anyone know of a fix for this game or a good guide to fix it? I wish there was a more legit & reliable source to get all the official versions of these games without needing the CDs but EA just had to kill this franchise leaving us with crappy emulators/ROMs of the game that don't always work.
