The Sims Problem

When the game loads up and goes to the neighbourhood screen this happens.

It could be to do with having Vista 64 bit. Wondering if there's any patches that could fix this?

Get The Sims 2 it's much better than this one... unless you don't want to waste 10+GB to install all expansion packs + stuff packs

you need a decent PC though. Sims 1 will play fine on crappy 8mb integrated video cards

lol my old pc was only 4mb and non integrated video card (ati 3d rage) and this game worked.

Tries that doesn't make a difference. I also tried it under compatibilty Windows 98/ME, the game doesn't load up when it's in that mod.
