I have a Dell Inspiron 530 Windows XP Pro service pack 3. It came with an ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO video card. Ever since we purchased this computer new from dell we would get the blue screen of death. I blew it off until now after dells technical support offered me no resolve. I opened up the error code and this is what I get.

BCCode: 10000050
BCP1:BA750000
BCP2: 00000000
BCP3: AD0E1F76
BCP4: 00000000
OSVer: 5_1_2600
SP:3_0
Product: 256_1

The blue screen says something about a page_fault_in_non_paged_area or something like that.

Any help is much appreciated.

Sounds like a memory problem to me.

If you can it may be worth opening your computer up, and trying each stick of RAM separately and see if you still get the problem.

When I send the error report it sends me to a Microsoft page asking me if I installed anything new or any new drivers but I haven't. Like I said it did it since day 1 when we got the computer. BTW Dropkicks rule lol

page_fault_in_non_paged_area is a memory issue.

http://hcidesign.com/memtest/download.html

go here and download. It is a tiny application callede memtest that tests your RAM for any problems. Unzip it to you desktop and run it overnight, the longer you leave it, the better. You shouldn't have it pick up any errors at all even over a few days, so if it picks up a couple or, in the case of an old set of corrupt RAM i had, erorr after error after error, you will know that it is corrupt or incorrectly inserted RAM.

Try this first, then see the results and post back with if anything came up
