The Viper MK8-939A Socket 939

I don't have an answer to Earl's question (tho I'd be curious if someone DID have an answer), but I have the same mobo and am having a problem with it, so thought I'd attach to this thread to bring it back to the top.
The board is not recognizing the memory. This is my 2nd MK8-939A board because the first one also did not recognize the memory. I brought that board to a PC shop, where they tested and found that the memory was good and was installed properly. They even installed one of their own brand new sticks of memory. Still get that beep code that indicates "no RAM."
Can ANYONE offer ANY suggestions? I'm at my wit's end. I really need to get this to work. Thanks in advance for ANY advice.
