The WEI thread

For any of you that don't know, WEI stands for windows experience index.

I'm having technical issues posting a screenshot, but my netbook's is as follows:

Processor: 2.2 (Atom N270)
Memory (RAM) : 4.4 (1GB stick of 533MHz DDR2)
Graphics: 2.3 (GMA 950)
Gaming Graphics: 3.0 !? As above ^^^
Primary HDD: 5.3 (Novatech 160GB Sata HDD)

NOTE I'm using Win7, so the scores go up to 7.9. In Vista they go up to 5.9.

Sorry XP users, it's a no-go for you :)
 
cpu: 7.4
ram: 7.5
graphics: 7.4
gaming graphics: 7.4
hdd: 5.3

wei scores don't matter at all though. a really bad way to judge computers.

Which one of your computer goes up to 7.9? not the netbook though I hope?

Not really, at least I can see that the hdd is your bottle neck for your system. if you get a ssd your system will perform much better.:D

In benchmark I guess? well if you moving large data a lot it will make some different. In real life I guess it won't notice a lot because your system is a desktop and have the upper end parts in it. but in the notebook area it does a lot help to determine the performance of the note book and help you to decide which part to upgrade if you can.:D
