theres just to many to choose from

ok well im ganna be building a computer here shortly and i was ganna use a amd athlon 64 3800+ or 4000+ but EVERYONE is telling me to go :cool: dual core:D ...so i am the only problem is there is so many to choose from and i am on a tight budget so please help

sorry for all of these but im lost.....and if possble pick the best one and then send a motherboard with it so i can look at the price with a dual core and mobo total
 
I'll make it easy for you... Don't even consider anything with "Pentium" in it's name :P Trust me, the Core 2 processors are the best out right now, hands down.
 
E6300 or X2 3800+ might fit your budget better

whats your budget for CPU and Mobo together?

AMD X2 would be around 210 for both and C2D around 280
 
yea i made up my mind im going with the E6300 i think it looks nice...but anyway YES i NEED a motherboard...if anyone knows of a good one for the duo please send a link....so thats like 190 bucks and 300 is the limit so i would so about 100 bucks on a mobo....thanks for you help
