so its been killing me to know, how do i apply thermal gel. is it just like one dab in the center than i put on the hsf?? also, i have been looking into liquid cooling, mainly for quietness. the comp is right next to my bed so i am willing to spend 200 dollars to get more than 3 hours of sleep a night. do you apply gel with liquid cooling? give me the whole scoop plz thanks
 
Put a drop about the size of a grain of rice in the center of your CPU and gently set the heatsink on and clip it into place.
 
What do you mean what's a good setup? I dont know much about it but you'll need a pump, radiator, and water blocks for w/e you want liquid cooled, and some tubing. Other than that, just dont cheap out, you'll regret it.
 
You could always try turning your computer off at night :P Also there are some VERY quite air cooling fans availble.

Just put a little less then the size of a pea in the center and put the heatsink and fan on.
