you can use the stuff that came with it, it will work fine, if it overheats then buy artic sliver...thats what i did

Ya arctic silver 5 is the best thermal paste available, but if your cpu runs cool and you aren't overclocking or anything you'll be ok.

You shouldn't stay on stock cooling if you are overclocking either.

I read the reviews on newegg,(i'm getting and AM2 athlon 64 3500+), the standard clock is 2.2ghz and could be overclocked to 2.4 or 2.6 without much increase of temp.

Still, aftermarket cooling is just something to keep in mind. You may be ok on stock cooling but ultimately aftermarket cooling is better.
