Thermaltake Armor w/ no side window

I have always liked the look of the Thermaltake Armor full tower case, specifically the front. I also like the way the inside is set up. The only problem is, I don't like cases with windows.

I decided to run a little search on the Thermaltake Armor with no side window, and came across this site:

http://www.robertselectronics.com/Cases.htm

The 2nd case from the top is the one in question, looks perfect for my tastes. But since I have never seen one without a side window before (including the official Thermaltake website), I am wary whether or not that is an actual original case or if it was modded. I sent an info request to Thermaltake regarding whether or not they have ever made one without a side window. That should get a response within 2 days.

Does anyone here have any info on this or any other stores selling Armor cases without side windows? Thanks.

I personally have never seen an Armor case without a side window, so I'd be a little hesitant. I'm eager to hear their response to your question. But I ask you, why don't you like side windows?

most people in here would opt for the side window purely because you pay alot of money for your componants so you want to show them off...

i never used to be bothered but i have seen a few computers in here that look very nice and tidy and i thought i would give it a go

i know where you are coming from and i think it will look nice but i still vote for side windows :)

The following is the response from my inquiry to Thermaltake.

Hello XX,
Thank you for using Thermaltake Customer Service.
This unit was discontinued from production. We do not know what vendors may still have the chassis. It is PN VA8000BNS. We can however recommend the purchase of the windowed chassis and then you can purchase the black side panel here.

Lol so I guess that is some good news. I can buy my #1 case choice anytime, only thing is I have to spend another $30 to buy a solid side panel, lol.
