So I've heard of it, but I don't know much about it; I first heard about it in Omega's Liquid Cooling 101 thread, he briefly mentioned it and I'd like to learn more. This is what I can gather, it seems like it is a normal water cooling block that is electrically charged, but anything beyond that I get confused. Does the electric current increase the heat transfer rate? And would you be able to mix normal water blocks with thermoelectric? Does it require anything special? I'm really curious about this and would love to learn more about it.

Edit: Would also like to find some good retailers for thermoelectric setups. I found one manufacturer called Swiftech, but their website seems really out of date, yet I see their products on Newegg, Frozencpu, xoxide, etc.. Dunno. :P

what do you mean like thermoelectric peltier cooling, if you do, see here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=94 its not very cheap either, you have to get special power supplies that can give them the power they need, they run around 150 dollars, the blocks to handle the larger pelts can run over 200 dollars, the pelts themselves can be as cheap as 40 bucks for a 226 watt version expect to add around 350 watts of heat to your watercooling loops as a result also
 
The real price in peltier setups is getting a psu that can handle one or buying a dedicated psu. I'm not a fan of TECs when there right on the heat load and they tend to go "ape shit" when you crank up the load. And loads are really all that matters when your overclocking imo. There are tons of creative ways to use them though and there definitely fun to play around with
