think my MB has problems

I made the mistake of leaving my computer on last night, it was working fine last time i checked. When i woke up this morning i had a black screen with a blinking pointer. I restarted my computer and straight away had a disk boot error. I started the bios and when it finaly started up it said everything was fine except for all my sata hdd were missing. i turned it off for about 5 minutes, when i turned it back on it loaded to the windows login screen were it hung.

so can anyone figure what the problem is? thanx
 
Your hard drive may be dying or it just may have errors on it or you have loose connections. Try doing a checkdisk or disk diagnostic using the drive makers utility.
 
ok so i used my windows disk to boot. when trying to repair or restore it shows no windows install currently on the drive, however when i use command prompt i can see all my files are intact including my windows folder. i then tried to get windows to do a fresh install thinking maybe a virus has done the nasty on me but when i try doing that the computer just hangs there and does nothing....
i have no idea except somehow both my harddrives have stop functioning, or some demonic entity has been sucked into my pc and is now screwing with me.......:confused:
 
Sounds like you have errors on the drive, try doing a disk diagnostic using the drive makers utility. What brand hard drive do you have?
 
driver are both western digital.

I managed to get it to boot after about 6 hours of repairs and diagnostics and now only 1 of my video cards is working. I have opened my case and made sure they are both in there properly and as far as i can tell there should be no problem.... this has not been my week
 
There might have more than one problem:

1) Might have many bad sensor. Is your hard drive new or old?
2) Might missed files during start up. You can install your OS use repair, not format. Repair can help you fix missed or bad files.
3) Unplug power and sata cable then replug. If you have other sata cable that you not use, try use new sata cable connect to hard drive.
 
this is realy starting to frustrate me. i am unable to even load into windows boot disk and the bios isnt even showing my hard drives..... seems odd that they would both die at the same time
