Thinking about buying a new computer

That gpu appears to have dual DVI outputs.

As far as the hard drive goes, I doubt they'll use a really terrible brand. In prebuilt computers it's usually it's Hitachi, Western Digital, Seagate, or Samsung...

Thanks. I believe I'm set on the computer (finally...), I think I just have one last concern. I know I've mentioned it before, but I just can't shake the negativity that I've been reading about wireless USB adapters and Windows 7 compatibility. It seems like almost everyone has a problem with every adapter when using it with Windows 7. I've been looking for a few around $20-$30, because I know there are fairly cheap ones out there and I don't want to pay over $30 for one...but anyway, could someone help me out here? What is a wireless USB adapter that is almost certain to work with Windows 7? Yeah, I know about the Windows 7 compatibility site,...but people still report problems and it worries me. Some people suggest that you could download the drivers to make it work, but how can you do this when the wireless adapter doesn't work in the first place? Any help is appreciated (links to products I can buy, preferably from newegg, they have cheaper prices)...thanks.
 
Apparently on the iBuyPower computer configuration I can either select the AMD Phenom™ II X2 550 Dual-Core (my current selection) or the AMD Athlon™ II X4 620 Quad-Core and both are at the same price. (so if I switch to the Athlon Quad-Core, the price won't go up on me.) Which should I choose? Stay with the Phenom dual-core or switch to the Athlon quad-core? If I should change to the Athlon, why? What are the differences, advantages, pros/cons, etc...

Keep in mind that I'm no "hardcore" gamer, I don't edit videos, audio, etc...etc... so should I just stay with the Phenom or what?

I'd take the Athlon, personally. More cores means it'll work better with newer programs and games that can use it. The Phenom would be ok too, though...
 
I got my computer. I chose the traditional fan for the cooling system option, but I think I got the liquid-cooling system. It says I did get the "120MM liquid cooler" system on the paper they sent with the package, so I guess they messed up...but as long as there aren't any leaks or anything I'm not too worried about it. Just not exactly sure what liquid it needs if I ever have to refill it...not too sure how I would do it either. Wouldn't want to mess something up. I also don't know how often I would need to do something like that. My keyboard is apparently on back-order, so I guess I'll receive that on Monday... Probably will just wait until Monday to start setting things up.

I'll post a few pictures below to show you what it looks like (the system in general, but you can see the "tubes" that make me think it's liquid-cooled):

It says it's an HDD cable, but what is that for?

Yes you wont need it. #2 looks like VGA and the first looks like serial port to an old printer. But I dont pay much attn to the old con ports... Just save them in case you have old stuff to connect to.

Those two pictures were of the same device/adapter/whatever, I was just showing each side of it. It looks like VGA-to-DVI...not sure...

It should have a pretty good lifespan..the aren't any parts in a small system like that there that are really prone to dying. Even if it doesn't, you're under warranty for quite a while.

BTW, I saw you were worried about refilling it. Sealed systems like that don't ever have to be refilled, so you don't have to worry about it. :good:
