ok as of right now i have a emachines T2596 and i have a differnt therd all about that...anyway i was wondering could any of you help me build a new computer with a very very cheap budget that would blow this thing away
 
you will need to state your max budget for the guys here to provide you with a build list.
and also tell them what you will mainly be using it for....gaming?...general internet/email use.
 
o sorry i complety forgot to type that part lol....but it will be used for internet use very very rarly a comand and conquer game..but i would say max buget is 400-500 i know very cheap sorry

anyone....o and also if i have to fit that budget i can use the biostar mother board from this pc..its ok but if you know something better do tell

That's okay...Pentium's in general are crap though, and he has no use for a dual core CPU. It's also not balanced...

Also, as a general rule, you don't want to use the PSU that comes with a case. They're 90% of the time absolute crap.
 
yea sorry jedijeff but i like computermaineack setup alot better but i have never uesed has a athlon before ive been using intel andi like them ...but computermaineack what is the speed of the athlon?

The Athlon 3500+, compared to an Intel, is probably about 2.8, 2.9ghz. AMD's aren't much different from Intel's.

I would recommend an Athlon over a Pentium D for your needs any day of the week. Before C2D, when it was Athlon vs. Pentium, AMD almost always had the upper hand.
 
wow thats pretty good i have an intel D now and its running 2.49ghz so thats an inprovment and so is everything else lol...this emachines just gotta make it till summer so i can get my job and buy these parts....but please if you have anymore suggestions plaese levave them....and thanks for all your help computermaineack
