It's good, except for the Processor...AMD totally beats the Pentium 4's...

I still don't know why you're so eager to configure parts, seeing as you're not going to built for what, 6 months?
 
about 3 months or 4...and i dunno i just like to know how to do something ahead of time...but i dont understand how the AMDs are so much better...the pentium 4s are faster...ive also seen it as the faster the speed the better the processor itself???

The structure of the AMD is just better than the Pentium's.

As for speed, 2.2ghz on an AMD is NOT equivalent to a 2.2ghz Intel. AMD processors can process more per CPU cycle, so hence the number speed is lower, but the actual speed is higher.

As I said, a lot of things are going to change in the next 3-4 months, just come back then.
 
ok ill talk to you then but as for if i go for a setup like yours how far can i overclock it and is it easy to over clock with your parts you sent to this thread?
 
Great job helping, you guys, except for one thing. I would guess that this guys has never done so much as upgrade the RAM in a PC, much less assemble a new one.
