YES. That is a really high resolution monitor! :eek:

3000:1 is really good...Samsung makes the best LCD monitors and that one is ne of the best. If you don't mind downgrading like 3 inches, go for the 906bw.
 
I was looking to get that monitor as well, looks awesome, 2ms is attractive. Not sure what that means.
 
Here's a review on that monitor it says a bit about the Dynamic Contrast to. Really you should disregard the 3000:1 to one as it's not entirely true, no other company uses that so you can't compare between different brands.

Not really, my 15.4" laptop LCD has a resolution of 1680x1050.

It looks like 700:1 is what you should actually go by, im not sure what the DC stands for though.
