Here are the specs:
Intel P4 3GHz with ET64 (codename Prescott) Dual Core
1x512MB + 1x1GBMB RAM (total 1.5 GB)
Ati Radeon 9550 video card (256 MB)
160 GB HDD (50 GB on C: and 100 on D:)
Asus DVD Writer

Does it worth upgrading to vista x64? Will it work as fast as xp? Will all my games work? (i tend to play games like Mafia, Mafia 2 when appears :D, GTA 4 when appears and if it works on my pc :D and other games)
Will programs like AfterFX which need lots of RAM work as well as on xp x86?

Oh firstly, that CPU ain't a dual-core, it's just HT enabled but really it's a singlecore. I don't think it's worth it, and you'd need at least 2GB RAM for a Vista gaming machine, IMO you'd better off waiting till you can get a new machine or using the money for a hardware upgrade rather than a new OS.

man, it's a dual core. In the dxdiag says Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.06 GHz (2 CPUs).
Also in CPUz, and any program that displays system specs.

It's HTT enabled, meaning that it makes one (single) processor appear as two. Why? When a thread stalls (common on NetBurst CPUs due to the deep pipeline), CPU clock cycles would be wasted but HTT allows the CPU to run two threads on 2 logical CPUs, so when one of them stalls, the other one kicks in. Put simply, it's just a technology to allow a single-core CPU to multitask more efficiently; it's actually a single-core CPU that's got two LOGICAL cores.

I say Home Premium X64 due to the fact that Home Premium is the OS with the best price / features.
