I wanted to know what would be the Best Graphics card for my system with out having my system bottlenecking.
My price range is $0-$160 USD

I'd reccomend a 9800GT aswell but if you can grab a 9800GTX+ as they are the highest peforming 9 series at the moment. Careful of your PSU aswell.. my 550W runs mine but not sure about 500W

Heres an idea, if you dont want to bust your wallet, try getting an 8800 GTX Ultra or something that was highest peforming yesterday but still runs everything now.

Good luck

p.s Get a 9800GTX+ :)

9800GX2. there you go.

500W is fine for a 9800GTX+.

Well it depends on the brand of your power supply. I gave my 500W to a friend of mine because it was too loud for me and got a 450W to replace it. The 450W is better beyond belief and runs my system perfectly.

As for getting an 8800GTX, you would definitely be better off getting a 9800GTX+. The 9800GTX+ is a newer card, meaning it will have good support. There is a huge selection of cards because they are fairly new, and it uses better technology. As for the price, I would think older cards tend to get more expensive. I was looking at the prices on the 8800GT Akimbo and it went up to $200 because they don't sell them anymore.

And I haven't heard many good things about the 9800GX2. Go for the GTX. I have an 8800GT and it plays all my games on full res with no problem, even Crysis. Being that the 9800GTX is a better card, you shouldn't have a problem either.
