thinking ahead

i want to add memory coolers to my water loop in a week or so, and i'm not sure where in the loop to put it. should i put it after the cpu and before the video cards? before the cpu? after the cpu and video cards? split it so the cpu and memory are hit first? what should i do?
 
According to your sig you aren't seriously overclocking/tweaking your RAM, so there's no need for it.
 
i do have the triple fan, they came with my dominators. my sig doesn't show my oc's, that's stock settings shown there, but i have had this ram up to 1200something before. can't remember exactly how much. i'm a little nervous about cracking the shell on the dominators, but i like the way the watercooling rig looks for them. would you do the chipset instead of the ram?
 
Belt you system with orthos, or 3dmark or something and carefully touch the ram, is it hot? probably not...
 
it doesn't get too hot to touch. i wanna try to get this ram up to 1333 like my cpu. i don't know if it's possible, but i'll feel more comfortable trying it on water. if nothing else, i'd like to eliminate all the fans i can.

here's my plan. i want to overclock to get the best performance i can. that's the whole point in doing it. i can't afford to put water to every component at once. what would benefit me more, doing the ram or the chipset?
 
I've taken my 800 RAM up to above 1000 and I didn't notice any problems. The timings do go pretty high though.
 
would memory run much hotter above 1300 than it does above 1000? or are those coolers really made for ddr3 and crazy overclocks? i'm leaning more and more towards doing my chipset first.
