Thinking to buy a new CPU Fan

Hi hows everyone today, i hope everyones having a good weekend so far. I would like your opinion on certain things
1)when ever i turn on my pc since i got it ,there's a weird noise which just pisses my dad off, as it quite loud at night. It didnt bother me for years but now to myself as well its a pain in the ass. So i opened up the pc case and heard closely to the MOBO, i saw the CPU fan and it was the one making the loudest noise, after my power supply and hard drive. It's a very basic CPU fan and i don't think it costed me more then 5-10$. So i am thinking to buy a new quiet CPU fan which isn't so noisy plus i dont want to spend alot of money. I went to tigerdirect.ca and check in this section which products they have and now i am very confused as there are many many categories and different types/models of fans.
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/category/category_tlc.asp?CatId=99

What do each of these sub-categories mean ??? What kind of cooling products does each of them represent ???

2)i would like to know what to look for when buying a new CPU fan ??? Like any compatibility issues with my system ??? Some1 told me about sockets and stuff whats that ?

3)how can i find out what type/model of CPU fan i currently have ?(i checked my CPU fan by unplugging it and all it says is INTEL)

4)what kind of properties/options should i look for in a CPU fan if i am looking for something which is very quiet

I don't want to spend alot of money yet get something nice. Please visit this link and point out some few nice cheap CPU fans which are compatible with my system, and state why you choose that particular fan.

My computer:
Windows XP, Service Pack 2
Intel Celeron, 1.1Ghtz (1100mthz)
128mb Ram
15gb HDD (Harddrive)
Asus Tusi-M Motherboard

Thx in advance

Are you looking for just a fan or a fan/heatsink combo?
If you're looking for a combo, then just look for one that will fit a 1.1GHz Celery. Easy enough. Fans alone are pretty simple; most are 60mm for most CPU heatsinks.

do u know aht socket type it is?
Thx for your replies V_Dubbgti and OvenMaster i don't know what socket my CPU is that's why i made such a long post, trying to tell you i am a novice at this and would like if some one can explain to me step to step on what is important when your buying a CPU fan.

The category your looking for is CPU fans. The other one sare pretty much self explanitory.

Yes, you need one that fits your socket.

You cant really find out besides reading labels, but since it says intel Its probably the stock fan.

Low dBA.

I think you have a socket 370 board, but just to double check use CPU-Z.

Most heatsinks now will be overkill since your CPU doesnt run very hot. Also most heatsinks dont come out for socket 370 anymore. Just look for something with low dBA and double check here.

should be a socket 370, so get this:

that should come with thermal paste(pad) with the HSF... its not gonna be artic silver 5, but you dont have a 3GHz celeron

That's a very good choice Ku-sama , i would like to know whats HSF and thermal paste(pad) ??? Also i found out another nice fan with nice features especially its noise is 21DBA compared to 26.5DBA for the one you selected.
Can you check it out and tell me is this a better buy for an additional one dollar :D

Thx in advance

yours is better, but i didnt know if you cared for lights or anything

HSF=Heatsink and a fan
Thermal paste(pad)=the white/grey crap that sits between the CPU and the HSF to helps bridge gaps in the HSF to the CPU
