Decent I guess, but you could probably build for a hundred or two cheaper. Plus not being able to overclock dirties the deal since Intel processors can overclock so much.

these computers might not actully have a locked multiplier, people said that if you hit alt and f1 in the bios you see hidden objects

It does, it's the processor that determines whether or not the multiplier is locked upwards, not the motherboard.

You can not raise the multiplier on the Q9300.

Not worth it!!
care to explain, what if i have no other options other than to go prebuilt, and my parents don't feel like ordering online, or is this going to be the same as 3 way sli with 9800 gtx's with them just being a waste of money for no apparent reason?

The only half way decent thing on there is the processor and the card!! The rest is most likely junk!! The mobo, ram, and hdd are all going to be slow!!

personaly i wouldnt buy it,i would go for a system with an e8400 with 2gb 800Mhz ram and a decent gfx card.

the ram in that system above is only 667mhz which will hold you back especialy if your planning on oc.

also to note that they have stuck a 400Watt psu in that system with a 8800GT ,i wouldnt say that would last too long

kinda hard to oc on an oem machine :P i would probably be able to replace the psu and i probably should have noted that the current machine im using is a p4@ 3ghz with 512mb of 184 pin ddr ram so i really wont care on the things in that machine, as no matter what it is so long as its from this year

It looks good, but not with that graphics card like it is or only one.

so in your eyes an 8800GT is crap? :D

ooooooooooookkkkkkkkkkkkkaaaaaaayyyyy

hey wont dont you buy him a 3870x2 :D

last i checked 8800gt is a fairly decent card

it is...ahh i noticed hes 14 lol
how dare he offend the 8800GT lol

seems like the prices are really falling, if my parents do get this computer i might try and find a match for it but i dont think its sli compatible :(
