This Has Bugged Me For A While.....

Is it possible to keep two windows open on your desktop and somehow scroll and navigate on the second window without having the computer automatically minimize the window you are switching from. For example, if I'm watching a movie on a minimized screen and I want to do work on another minimized window, is there any way of keeping the movie window locked and not have it minimized. I know it sounds trivial, but I would really appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

You mean, if you're watching something in, say windows media player on full screen and you want to do work on top of the movie without breaking the full screen?

Sorry, I don't believe that is possible. My solution, which I do often, is just to use two monitors and do work on one and have a movie playing on the other.

Ya....I just wanted to keep two windows open simultaneously and freely switch between the two without windows automatically minimizing them down to the taskbar. Basically keep both window panes semi-minimized (i.e. watching a movie on one pane while freely working on the other pane without the movie being minimized to the taskbar once I switch over).

uh, that sounds weird. i don't understand. you mean you can't have multiple windows open at once? that really doesn't make any sense. screen shots would help.

Cant you just use restore down on both screens and stretch them to the size you want side by side, seems to work on mine.
