this is a TINY desktop

i was at a computer store and i picked up this external hard drive to look at it. to my surprise, it turned out the be a whole desktop! this is the Acer Veriton VL410-UD4201P. it's a big turn on for me because of how compact it is. the only downside i have for this is since it's so small, there won't be much room for air circulation. i also HATE prebuilt computers, so does anyone know if all the parts are upgradeable? i can't find anywhere that says if it uses regular desktop memories or if it uses a standard internal 3.5" HD. is the CPU integrated onto the mobo? and most importantly, is there a barebone available for this?

cant say i have ever seen a desktop that small, damn, yea i would think it would easily overheat or get stuffed up...do you know what the specs were on it?

laptops dont over heat any the new macbook is paper thin. I doubt it'll over heat the way they specialy desighn airflow. If it does, stick it on a cooling pad.

specs are in the link. and there are several models of that desktop and each has different specs depending on how much you're willing to pay. and this thing's is smaller than you think. i've seen it in person and i seriously thought it was an external HD at first

Laptops DO overheat. I've seen it happen to my laptop.

Airflow shouldn't be a problem as long as the CPU fan is there and there's enough air vents around the case.

If you want a small case then just look at mATX cases. They won't be as small as that one but still noticeably smaller than an atx case.

Mine is 9.5" high x 11ish" wide x 15" deep
