This is F'd up

Ok so I was looking for a backup of one of my Windows XP cd cause I could not find the real cd so I could do a reinstall on my messed up machine and this is what I found. Please note that none of these CD's had lables on the and that they all belong to my father.

Heres what I found

7 Windows XP 64 bit editions dude dad we only have one 64 bit machine in this house and it belongs to you and only one of them was labled.

Now heres the real kicker I found 11 of the same linux distros which I don't even know what the hell they are.

3 Mandrake linux's distros all 3 cds included in each one

and 5 of the same music CD's and guess what I did not find one 32bit version of windows xp please tell this is not F'd up.

This is after I spent 4 or 5 hours looking through over a 100 cd's without names.

So, is the problem that you couldn't backup a cd or that you couldn't find it in your father's collection? Is there a problem at all?
 
No theres no problem at all I just thought it was funny that I found a bunch of the sames cds all of which had no labels.
 
heh, i ahve countless windows XP discs and about 45 ubuntu install discs, 5 for macs, 10 for 64-bit and 30 for 32 bit machines, they were free so why not, lol

and nameles CD's im really bad for that, i have a stack sitting next to me that i still have to go through and name, theres about 25 in there at the moment

I have like 30 unamed cds just sitting in a pile. I have no idea at all whats on them except one is some school work that was from before the summer, and the teacher was off on the last day when we had to hand it in, now shes remembered. I need to do it by sometime nextweek...

How in the world did you get free XP CD's? I need just a cd with no activation codes or anything seeing as I already have my codes, but my CD is long gone :(
