Just make sure you have plausible deniability that anything is missing. Say you're exchanging it because it's clearly been opened/damaged before and you paid full price.

This will leave room for an assortment of parts to be missing.
 
When deciding whether or not to even have a sig it came to mind to put something informative there rather then simply "just anything" to take up the space.

yea, ill say that the case has been opened and been very obviously used before. And whoever said that no matter what theycant deny my claiim, ill just throw that in their face if they refuse. They have no proof.

yea plus i took the skrews and the 3.5 bay drive tray

Naw, don't be a dick. Express your frustration while making it clear that you realize the person doing your return isn't the same person that sold you a used case as new.

but w/ all seriousness i guess u have a pt. And im not going to lie; they have some REALLY pretty girls workin the customer service counter. They also have guys 2 ....but i really dont know what to say about them, lol.

hey i heard that most stores place females in the return centers and stuff because people are less likely to bitch to girls. is this true?
 
I doubt it, I think a lot of people are more likely to yell at women.

On a side note, it's good that a girl will be doing your return, because she won't realize that anything is missing.

lol yea, so right now im typing this from my comp again!!!!

i went to frys and returned the case, and this girl opened up the box and said something along the lines of " sorry sir, this case has had physical damage. We can't take this."

then i said "it wasnt me. I bought it like that. That is why i'm returning it. There is a fan missing, there are no screws and 3.5 floppy tray is missing. There is also some missing drive coverrs"

"no, there isnt a sticker on it, saying it has been used."

"Look ma'm. Obviously, this case has been used before"

"Ok sir. Derek! Derek come here"

(derek is the one that authorizes the returns)

derek afterlooking over the case: "looks like soemone put their foot through it"
me: "yea and someone jacked the fan"
The girl, her name from now is G: "this gentleman claims he boguth the case like this"

D: " look dude, r u sure that u didnt do this"
Me: "yea. It wasnt me."
D: "ok"

D types in the password to authoirize or something

G: "we only have the display of this case available {m9}"
Me: "that sux"
G: "the best we can do is give u store credit"
Me: "no cash?"
G: we dont carry cash here, take the credit to the register to get hard money"

Me: "ok thanx, have a nice evening."

Good. There was also no open merchandise sticker on that processor I took a pic of, they do that shit all the time.

And they know it, too, that's why they had to do your return. Good job.
