1) macs have less viruses, because less people use macs so why would the nerds that make viruses waste their time hacking a OS that a small percentage of people use? it would be more effective to hack windows, dont ya think? it has little to do with the amount of "holes" windows has. hackers could find just as many on macs.

2)
"MAC's dont progress they just go for the "new"."

Riiiight. Sure they don't.

man flame got u good there. probably why ur response was so...

3) there are ALOT of games out for windows that the mac doesnt have and will never have.

4) windows PCs are much more customizable in terms of hardware and software.

5) I realy dislike all the graphical gizmos the GUI on the new mac OS's. realy tends to lag stuff.

6) main thing i luv about windows... the windows. i hate how programs in Mac OS's have their toolkits and pieces of the program and stuff all crazy around the screen. I like the neatness of having everything of a program in one window.

I use a Pc at home but at work we have a photo lab with all macs that I had to set up and network. It was a pain in the but and I wined about it for a wile but when I was done I was glad I did it because macs really arn't that bad if you take the time to learn it. Kind of like linux. So stop being lazy... :P

macs are also more expensive then pcs, and you cant custom build them. But if its just for browsing the web, listening to music, managing some photos, i guess it would be pretty cool to have. But if you want to play any game, you would need a pc, especially in a FPS with no right mouse button :P

there's been a similar poll, and the results are the same, lol
is it really because pc is better than mac?
i don't think its fair to judge that.

well, macs are used in some art school. :D

I despise mac computers. I like to be able to be able to work on my computer, and the all-in-one form factor is really irratating. Plus for PC's there are so much better upgrades. Also, macs remind me of really crappy computer labs at school. And since i dont like school (i get way too bored of being shown things i already know) it just reminds me of wasting my time. Give me a PC and call it good.

pc mac pc mac pc mac it is all a love/hate relationship. 90% of all highschools use macs and do have some windows pc. the other 10% of high schools use windows with some macs. in the busness world almost all busness uses windows and only a few use macs. Lot of the schools use macs becuase they don't need to hire a computer tech. to run thier network.almost all of you can go up to the the "computer tech" they got in a high school and and have them stumped in just in a few seconds. The "computer tech" they have at the school that my oldest girl goes to doesn't know what the inside of pc looks like but tries to act like he does. when the have a big problem they call me and i would have to come and fix the problem that some of the high school students can fix and his only exsuse is it is for a profissenale to fix. and the only thing would be wrong is a simple driver installation. (i had to install drivers for a camra on diffrent pc.) but any way thta is what i think

We have about 95% PC's in our highschool. I mean they're really easy to upkeep, especially when your Computer Engineering teacher is just some amazingly smart computer person. So think i can safely say we dont need to hire a computer tech. Also, networking systems together isnt that hard, i mean there are tons of students in our school that can do it (since we have a class for the CISCO or whatever certification). That entire room is hooked onto multiple networks by students who took that class so i mean it cant be too hard to do, i'm taking it next year, I guess i'll find out then.

I wish iii had my PC classed at my school, only graphic deisgn, and website development, and web dev is a ROP class and it works with dreamweaver **shudders** I want to learn more of the programming behide...not the lets make a image bigger by clicking on zoom!

Well whenever I get a car(Whenever i save up enough money and find a good deal, I've been loking for a while, but for a while I didn't have enough to get anything worth getting, each month I have mrore so it inreases my chances) then I'm going to take a couple community collage classes too, but untill then I have no way of getting there.
