Don't forget arctic silver 5 and windows if needed nor a case. Other than that, it looks good. You might want to consider an nvidia card with SM 3.0 and FP 32 support.

never heard of that before either, but how can you not afford a 200gb hard drive or a dvd burner if your paying $400+ for a cpu? lol

What speakes do you have? if you have nice ones then i would go with the audigy 2 zs ( i got it and its much better then sb live!), and perhaps go with the x800profor about $230.

i dont need a large harddrive and a dvd burner right now my dad has one and when he sells his computer i am going to get that so i dont need to spend the money i just need a good cpu and i have altec lansing speakers and they are good speakers and i am going to keep the sound card i am going to get and i got a good videocard ill upgrade that when i want to
