Why do you not like buying online?

Being in the UK, I've never used Newegg, but a lot of Americans here like using it and it's a reputable store.

I would honestly order it online, wait a few days for the parts to arrive to you, and then at the end of it you get a much better system.

But, whatever you choose... :rolleyes:

Mainly because I live alone and no one at home to take delivery and sometimes they just leave on the porch. Not good.

From what I've been reading around the net the R9 280x is the same card as the 7970 but with a few tweeks. The 280x is only marginally faster. But I'm only going by what I'm reading.

Yeah like I've said, it is a 7970 GHz Edition basically, but since it's newer I'd buy it over the 7970 GHz Edition.

The 7970 will be discontinued soon. It's nearly 2 years old, whereas the 280X is only a few weeks old.
