This popup is driving me insane!

I recently installed Adobe Shockwave on my pc and I must have forgotten to uncheck the "install Norton crapware 16" button that they somehow managed to hide from me yet again!

It seems like Norton have gotten a whole lot more aggressive than usual with their marketing because this installer keeps popping up every 30 minutes, and it's driving me insane! In fact, I have my doubts that this is even a Norton product, because I don't know if I believe that they would stoop this low! If it really is a Norton product, then they ought to be ashamed of themselves, because this is basically malware!

Anyway, I've tried getting rid of it by going into the control panel to uninstall it, but there's nothing there to remove. It appears in the program files, and I've tried deleting it from there but it keeps coming back. I suppose there is probably some entry in the registry that I need to delete, but I wouldn't have a clue where to even start!

If anyone has had experience with this stupid thing pleas help me! Here is a screenshot of it:Norton.png

Did you try clicking Cancel and then removing Norton Utilities 16 in Programs & Features?

Safe mode | revouninstaller. You can also try everything.exe and search for its install path and delete it. Use safe mode.

It almost looks like it's not even installed, because it says "This will install Norton Utilities 16 on your computer".

I would look in startup to see if there is any process that shouldn't be in there. Or if it was really recent, just do a system restore back to before updating adobe.
