I'm having trouble picking between the Intel d915gag mobo and the ECS 915-m5. My Dad just bought an the "ECS PF5 Extreme" and it's great!

(I got the case already, and I'm not thinking of a budget rightnow)

Here are the parts:
Mobo
intel board
ECS board

CPU:

Harddrives: (I will have it set to make the drive be one big one SATA0?, stipe?)
2 of these

Video card:

OS:
Operating System

Drives: (I already have a floppy drive and cd-rom drive)
cd-rw drive

Memory:

And that should do it. I will probably want to get a quite blue LED 80mm fan, grill cover, and a couple other little things and a heatsink but this is it.

that cpu will not be compatible with the mobo. the dual core pentiums require the intel945 chipset or higher or the nforce 4 chipset.

In that price bracket MSI 915p neof [$80] and abit gd8 [$95] are superior. the abit ag8-v [$100] is also worth considering. Do note that the PentiumD will not work with these motherboards

harDDRives: (i will have it set to make the drive be one big one sata0?, stipe?)
have a look at HDD 101 and raid 101.

drives: (i already have a floppy drive and cd-rom drive) cd-rw drive
Gigabyte doesnt know how to make optical drives heh. have a look at the suggestions in CD/DVD 101.

is this better?
Again the MSI 945 NeoF [$125] and ASUS P5LD2 [$130] are superior boards (especially that ASUS one)
