Thoughts on this Case?

I would go ahead and get the one with the power supply, assuming you don't have one and that's what you need, I did a quick search and the cheapest 600w psu i saw was 50$ and looks like a good case

I think I'll bite and buy it soon. Do these deals normally last very long?

I'm planning on using these for a budget gaming rig. Probably getting an AM3+ Mobo and a Phenom II Quad Core. Anything specific I should be looking for when getting a Mobo that will work with this PSU? I think i just need a Mid or Micro ATX board and it should work should work but, again, I'm a newbie. Thanks for the help!

NONONONONO, rosewill is fine for a case but they are a crappy powersupply brand, corsair seasonic antec and a few others are the only brands to get for a custom built comp., anything else is likely to fry the whole thing, they aren't the watts they say and they use a tone of rails to get their numbers so it is easy to plu too many things into a rail and it not have the power and take everything on it with it to hell. and there are much nicer cases for that much too, and they look way cooler.

rosewill's power supplies aren't really that bad. Though, depending on the rest of your build, you can probably get a more solid 500w psu for less. And that case for that price is pretty decent. The cable management won't be fantastic, but It's $50, Can't expect the world.

i like my apex vortex 3620 more and it's 37 with shipping and almost possitive they are both from same company then rosewill and apex rebrand them and add a faceplate, and there's nothing wrong with a rosewill psu, but they won't give good watts continuosly, peak is what's shown and peak ain't average, it's just not a stable enough brand for a true machine, if you're building a 3-400 buck home comp then get it, otherwise go for the above listed brands, and also for that price one of the bests is the destroyer by not sure who, and the m95 i think and also idk by who.

Ok. I've pretty much decided on that case unless anyone can find a reason not to get it.

Now onto the PSU.

I'm not exactly sure how much I need. I'm going to be running a single GPU with a AMD Phenom II Quad Core. Then all the usuals, DDR3 RAM, 7200 RPM HDD, DVD Drive, etc.

My question is how many watts do I need and what are some good companies to get them from?

Thanks all.

Edit: This is going to be for moderate gaming on a 20 inch Widescreen monitor.

I would say about 550w would be enough. I would not get that PSU, though. The forum standard for PSUs are antec, corsair, seasonic, silverstone, PC Power and Cooling, and XFX. It's gonna be a little more expensive, but worth it.

I think you should go with a reliable power supply and a large case. In my opinion a corsair 650w as well as a roomy atx case will allow for alot of expanding and upgrading in the future. You buy a low grade power supply and a large case. whenever you want you upgrade you may have to get another power supply or a larger case. You shouldn't always look at the upfront costs of parts.

Here is a good power supply:

EDIT: The case you picked is fine but in my opinion the better option would be a full size case but that's just me.

I just ordered the Challenger case and a 600 watt Corsair Builder Series PSU. Thanks Newegg for the email specials.
