Thread stuck in device driver means damaged Card?

I have had the same card for a while, and it has been giving me this error randomly in certain games, Where it freezes, bluescreens and windows tells me to update driver or replace card. I have upgraded my drivers many times, and it still crashes at seemingly random times. More often in some games than others. Also when my card has any filtering or antialiasing it crashes.

I am thinking my card cannot handle heavy strain, seeing as the 7600gs is not good at aliasing.

Can I buy a new card and assume everything will be safe?

I fear my crappy PSU may be the problem, or my amd x2 4200

PS It can play FEAR and HL2 virtually perfect, but Crysis(demo) crashes unless I set everything to low but textures. for some reason low textures=crash. Bioshock demo always crashes early in the first chapter

Yeah a case PSU from the bad list, RAIDmax. it has sufficient amperage though.
Any card can. But performance outputs differ.

Sounds like it's overheating to me.

This could be the case, but the way it can handle playing FEAR or Supreme Commander for an hour and more but crashes after ten minutes of Bioshock, or starting Crysis with the wrong settings particularly bugs me.

as for fans my computer has two case ones, a 75mm intake on the side, and a 100mm fan on the back which is either a too weak to feel outtake or intake as well.
