three operating systems ?

ive heard people talking about duel booting and i was just wondering if you had three different hard drives would it be possible to run three different opperating systems ?

You don't need separate hard drives to run multiple operating systems. Don't know where you got that idea.

nah just partion your hard drive for the 2 Oses.

i have 3 partions,

1.Xp

2.Vista

3.Backup

that explains some,However i just use Norton partion magic

and if you do decide to dual boot anyting make sure you back up all of your stuff before changing anything.
do you have a windows disk or was it pre-installed on your system? just asking so if something goes wrong you can re-install windows ?

ive got a canny few windows xp discs so thats no problem
is it quite complicated to do or can any one do it ? because i aint the sharpest knife in the drawer wen it comes to computers

hmm no its not complicated at all,Basicly if you were to use Norton partion magic like i do all you do is say if you want to create a 20Gb partion for Vista just "Create new partion" enter the size which would be 20480 for 20Gb and set it as a primary drive.

then just install the other Os to that 20Gb blank partion.

How big is your HD? 4oGig for Vista would be nice, however; if you are running Linux too give Linux most of the space.

jesus i didnt think id need that much space my hdd is 250 gig i fink ill wait till i get my two 750 gb ones
