time to upgrade, what are your thoughts on this??

I currently have a evga 630i mobo and a core 2 duo 2.33ghz. I want to upgrade, Is it worth going to a quad core? or should I just go with an E8600 3.33ghz and new mobo? I was thingking of an EVGA 750i. As for video cards I was gonna pick up an 8800 ultra sometime down the road. Is quad core worth it right now? do any games even utilize all four? thanks for the help
 
8800 Ultra is a great card but they have stopped making them. This actually raises the price because they are hard to get now that production stopped. I could only find one for sale and they wanted $419 for it! You can get a card almost half that price that will out perform it. :)
