time to water cool

Ok guys this is going to be my first water cooled computer.I need some advice.
specks of my rig
17 920,Asus p6t,ocz gold ram, hd 4890 two of those,antec tpq-850 850 watts,two 640 wd hard drives,Armor+ full tower case.

The water block i am thinking of is the heat killer rev3.0 cu,the rad is black ice gt stealth 360 x flow, thats all i came up with so far.Can some one help me with the rest? Thanks. I really want to build this for my rig.
My budget is $400-$500.I would like to stay closer to $400. The setup needs to be clean looking,my them is black and red.Black and red inside with red tubing and shrink wrap on cables,every thing else black.To go with the rest of my room.

I would recommend the apogee XT over the HK 3.0, better temperatures, and much easier mounting(you need to have a vernier caliper to mount a heatkiller because it is a precision block). For decent watercooling in a TT armor you are pretty much required to mount the radiator externally.

I kind of thought i would have to mount on the out side.So the apogee xt is a better block, ok thanks i will check that out.
 
I for got to say what my loop will have. I want my cpu,nb/sb for now and latter when i get the hang of things add my gpu's as well.What do you think of this resevoir the xsp acrylic daul 5.25 for 2 laing's?

Good setup, personally i would say you dont need more than a single laing ddc 3.2 with an XSPC res top though, i know a guy who ran three rads, two gpu's, and a cpu on a single 3.2+ res top.
 
thats cool a little cheaper.I was just thinking about making sure it will work good with my future add ons.But if it will work good like that I will just go that rought then.Thanks and when I start the build I will post up the log.
 
Ok I need some help finding nb/sb block for my mother board Asus p6t. Can any one help me with this.This is one of the last things i need befor i can order my parts.That and a good reservoir.Thanks
 
This is what i am thinking of for my main loop.
pump mcp 655
cpu block Apogee xt
rad mcr 220 Qp
res swiftech micro res 2

What do you think? I am still iffy on the rad still thinking a blackice might be better.
 
Probably a Black Ice would be the best choice, as the MCR 220 wouldn't work so well with the XT. A bottleneck of sorts.
 
I'm saying an MCR 220 Rad isn't an awesome rad, but the XT is the best block available. So I recommend either getting a better rad or save money by getting a GTZ.

The XT for all intents and purposes is the best block available, less restrictive than the HK, requires less precision when mounting than the HK, and more readily available. For a CPU only loop i dont really recommend going with an XT and a double swiftech, your temperatures would be better off going for a better rad such as a BIX, SR1, RX, or one of the new EK radiators and a GTZ, because how much heat you can dissipate matters more than the waterblock, only with a nice radiator would i recommend spending the extra on an XT.

I am starting off in the Armor+ and then going to put it in the 800d.This will be my first mod so i dont want to cut up a brand new case as my first mod.LOl. I think I should start with the Armor+ so if I mess up moding something I wont have to live with it for long.I just orderd the 800d today,should have it next week some time.

i would go with a 360mm radiator then(15mm fan spacing) one of those will fit into the 800d up top with no modding
