timings - pls help

This is my current system and i have a few questions to ask.

Timings.jpg

Looking at the timings now - can anything be changed to improve performance.
I dont think i can go to 2.0 CAS as i tried and it wouldnt boot - but it says 2.0 on the table in cpu z.
Ive lowered the cycle time from 8 to 5 - is this good or bad?
I cant change the bank cycle time in my BIOS - does it do much when tweaked anyway?
Ive set the command rate at 1, should it be at 1 or 2 or auto?
On a side note - my HTT is at 4x and at 1016 MHz - is this going to cause a bottleneck, wil i see a los sin perofrmance if dropped to 3 x ?

Thanks for any answers guys :)

BTW its very cheap ddr400 generic ramf rom ebay - but overlccoks like a devil :)

2-2-2-6 is the timings it's rated for @133MHz, so trying to run it at 2-2-2-6@250MHz is a bit of a stretch :P

All of the timings have a fairly small effect, only the major 5 do a tiny bit when you go from max to min. You could try dropping the HTT to 3x and seeing how high the CPU can go or just loosen the RAM timings and clock it higher.

Would i notice a difference if i changed the ram ratio to 133 MHz and hvaing 2-2-2-6 would i see a decrease in performance as the clock speed will be lower.

What can i do to my current timings to make them better? but satying at Cas 2.5

Is cas 2.0 noticably different than 2,5

2.5 to 2.0 usually gets you a low single digit % improvement. Same with the other timings but they get an even smaller improvement.

If you drpped the speed I would expect that you'll notice a fairly big drop. Your timings are pretty good for cheap RAM, all you can do is adjust them and see if it's stable.
